Zavcor has made an addition of six 2009 Freightliner Columbia tractors to its fleet. These units feature a Cummins ISM engine with Eaton 10 speed automatic transmissions and a Thermo King Tri-Pac auxiliary generator set.

Zavcor has completed a major upgrade to the fleet adding 22 new Utility reefers with state of the art SB210 Whisper Thermo King refrigeration units.

Zavcor Trucking has relocated to their Stevensville terminal. This move brings economic advantages to both the Reefer Division and the Truk-King Dry Freight Division, such as cost sharing terminal overhead, maintenance and proximity to the QEW. This will help ensure the long-term financial success for the company in the competitive freight business.

2004 – Zavcor and Truk-King receive FAST (Free and Secure Trade) approval
for U.S. and Canada Customs.
Participation in this program allows
pre-approved carriers, importers and registered drivers to cleared into
the U.S. or Canada with greater speed and certainty and at a reduced cost
of compliance. The FAST program is a joint Canada-U.S. initiative involving
the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency, Citizenship and Immigration Canada,
the United States Bureau of Customs and Border.
